I'm going to Ala Mhigo!

So from Fanfest 2016, 4.0 looks to be bringing a lot of changes our way.

1) NEW JOBS!! There are at least 2 coming our way and you may as well consider RDM as confirmed. Like the last FanFest Yoshi had a superhero shirt and spoke about the Dark Knight for a moment or 2 when the subject of new jobs came up. True to form he wore a Scarlet Witch shirt and to answer the question of new jobs he just said look at the shirt. In the video above the Warrior of Light is now a monk, and he's fighting another monk, I clarify this because a lot of people tried to claim her as dancer. Also a lot are saying its Yda, I assure you its not. First no tatoo, second its a character we'll being seeing introduced towards the end of 3.x

2) Of course new zones, one of which is the Forbidden Land of Eureka. 4.0 will be hoping to move away from making us always do old content to get our relics, and may even see the return of 72hr pop NMs, Eureka will be a large area they are expecting to use for the 4.0 Relic weapon. There will be at least as many sprawling zones in Stormblood as there are in Heavensward, and the new hamlet is Rhalgar's Reach which we see int he video above.

3) More Primals will be heading our way including original design primals like Ravana, and some throwbacks like we had with the Warring Triad.

4) MORE INVENTORY!! This had a bigger reaction than the new jobs announcement, they want to give us as much space as possible, but they may do in as a 2 or more phase thing to make sure that the servers stay stable.

5) A new housing zone, but we can't know where as it relates to the story of either 3.x or 4.0

6) Level Cap 70

7) With the level cap increase they had concerns of to many skills (Think of the spell lists from XI). To help alleviate this, they will be looking at the current skills and either revamping them or removing them. Specifically the ones that people don't use or that just seem to be not worth your time to use. They will also be adjusting the additional skills system, right now a skill is usable by its original job and a pre-set list of other jobs. That pre-set list will be dumped and change to role specific instead. So SMN may get Thunder back.

8) Now this next one is a double-edged sword announcement, but not unexpected: They will be raising the minimum system requirement of the Windows version, and they will be ending PS3 support. For the PS3 users they will be looking at another free upgrade campaign like when they first launched on the PS4, its definitly worthwhile doing, the PS3 is already taxed to the max when it runs this game.

9) We will be going up against the Garlean Empire and helping the Ala Mhigo resistance. They raised some good points when they went into this. The Garleans have now occupied Ala Mhigo for about 20 years, so we effectively have 2 different generations to deal with. Those from before and those born after, so we may have a bigger story than one first thought. Also the big bad is the Twelveths Legion Legatus Zenos yae Galvus, and may be more political than previous Garleans we've encountered thus far.
